I'm Alexis Williams, Regional Admissions Counselor for the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Hattiesburg,
Florida panhandle, New Orleans, and greater Mobile, Alabama.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ole Miss in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and an emphasis in public relations.
While at Ole Miss, I was active in the Associated Student Body, served as sorority president and as a staff writer for the Daily Mississippian.
I’m a native of Holly Springs, but have lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 2002.
My favorite thing about Ole Miss is that we are like a small family.
No matter where I seem to travel or live, I always meet somebody with an Ole Miss connection.
As a student, I loved the fact that wherever I went on campus, I usually saw someone I knew.
I was an admissions counselor’s dream, because I never really wanted to go anywhere else.
My parents were both Ole Miss graduates, so they always took me to campus for different events
(I even remember a time when we could drive into the Grove).
I can’t imagine myself having gone anywhere else.
