I’m Dana Ros, the community college admissions counselor for the eastern half of Mississippi and regional admissions counselor for Oxford High School. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi. I attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where I was an active member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I graduated from Ole Miss in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. I joined the Ole Miss recruiting team in 2007 and currently live in Oxford. I love the family aspect of the University, and my favorite time to experience that aspect is “groving” before the football games. I chose Ole Miss because I loved SEC sports, the atmosphere and campus life. I wanted to stay in Mississippi, and I found UM very cost efficient. It also didn’t hurt that my favorite NFL player, Deuce McAlister of the New Orleans Saints, played for Ole Miss. Fun Facts: Pets: A German Short-Haired Pointer named Bishop.
