I’m Le’Deidre (Dee) Gardner, the Regional Admissions Counselor for Northeast Mississippi and North Alabama.
I am a 2009 graduate of The University of Mississippi with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both journalism and history.
During my time at Ole Miss, I was an Ole Miss Orientation Leader, an Ole Miss Ambassador, and a member of the University Gospel Choir.
I also participated in the Lott Leadership Institute in the summer of 2003.
I am originally from Pontotoc, MS and currently reside in Oxford, MS.
I joined the Ole Miss recruiting team in 2009.
I chose Ole Miss for two reasons:
the journalism department is awesome;
my sisters both went to a rival school and I wanted to be a rebel—quite literally an Ole Miss rebel.
My favorite thing about Ole Miss as an undergraduate was going to see performances at Fulton Chapel,
being involved in student organizations, and the unbelievable amount of free pizza given out around here.
