The circle is one of my favorite locations on campus because there is so much beauty and history everywhere you look. The Lyceum, built in 1848, was the first building on campus and is the symbol of Ole Miss. The circle is full of old oak trees that have towered over every student since the University was first opened. I have enjoyed many wonderful afternoons leisurly walking around the circle, and anticipate many more to come.
