At The University of Mississippi, where
more than three
out of four students
receive some type of financial aid, we
offer a variety of merit- and need-based
scholarships,
as well as loans, grants
and work-study opportunities.
Once
you have been admitted to The University of Mississippi,
you will be automatically considered for the entering freshman
Academic Excellence Scholarship program. Scholarship offers
will be made as early as December 2007 and will continue
through April 2008.
All other scholarship programs require acceptance to the university and may require
additional applications. The brochure Your Guide to Admissions and Scholarships
is available from the Office of Admissions, and the financial aid Web site,
www.olemiss.edu/depts/financial_aid,
will provide further information regarding the application process for specific scholarships. Most applications
are due by February 1. Look for more information to come on this Web site specifically for the
W.R. Newman Scholarship and the Robert M. Carrier Scholarship.
