Intramurals
and sport clubs
If racing your roommate to the fridge for the last slice of cold
pizza isn’t enough to satisfy your competitive spirit, intramurals
and sport clubs are always an option.
Thousands of students each year
join teams that include wallyball, ultimate Frisbee, flag football, softball,
basketball and tennis. Players at all skill levels, from beginners to ace athletes,
will find a place to fit in.
Intramural teams can be made
up of students from the same home towns, who have the same majors, or who live
in the same residence halls. On average, more than 100 teams compete in intramural
basketball and flag football alone.
Sport clubs include fencing,
Hapkido, soccer and rugby, and some teams even jostle for competitive glory against
other SEC schools.
