Visiting the University of Mississippi

The University of Mississippi invites all prospective
students and their families to come to the campus
and learn more about Ole Miss and Oxford, a great
public university in one of America's premier
college towns.

Regular class days provide insight into everyday campus life
and give visitors the opportunity to take advantage of many
campus resources, so weekday visits are encouraged. Our
goal is to help you plan a visit that will meet your needs--
even if you're a little confused right now about what those
needs are. Visits may include:

Appointment with an Admissions Counselor
Campus Tour
Class Attendance (weekday visits only)
Meetings with Academic Faculty
Discussion with Financial Aid Counselor

To schedule a campus visit, please notify us at least one week before you would like to visit to allow us to better accommodate your visit.

We accommodate walk-in visitors to the best of our ability, however, we cannot guarantee that all appointments and special requests will be met unless the visit is scheduled in advance. To make your visit most enjoyable, wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate to Mississippi's seasonal weather. However, if distance makes this trip impossible, be sure to visit the University's online tour or take a look at the Ole Miss Live!Cam, featuring a live view of the campus.

Special Visit Programs for Prospective Undergraduates

Registration for Special Visit Programs will open at least six weeks prior to the event.
Registration should be completed online through the prospective student's VIP page.
