Educate and prepare students for work as interpreters, translators, teachers, negotiators, analysts, and/or any occupation that entails a high-degree of Arabic knowledge.
Expose students to the Arabic language and culture through our study abroad program at Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan. Irbid—a city of approximately 500,000 people—is culturally and linguistically rich in terms of acquiring Arabic and unlocking its mysteries.
Involve students in extracurricular activities such as the Arabic Language Club, language competitions, and internships in the Middle East and in Washington D.C.
