Your old courses may not appear in Blackboard after the upgrade. We are starting with a fresh installation of Blackboard, and only courses specifically requested by instructors will be copied into the new system.
Blackboard was upgraded to version 7.3 the week of December 17-21, 2007.
All previously enabled Winter and Spring 2007-2008 courses have been copied into the new Blackboard. If you have not enabled your upcoming courses, you may do so now through January 31st in Online Services for Faculty.
Multiple e-mails were sent out in December asking instructors to let us know of any old courses which they would need access to in the new Blackboard. All courses requests that were sent to us have been completed. The courses including syllabi linked through the Manage Syllabi interface in Online Services have also been copied into the new system.
SafeAssign is now available. See the SafeAssign tutorial for assistance.
*For Winter Intersession and Spring Courses: If you need access to material in an old course which has not been copied, please e-mail the old course name, section number, and semester to blackboard@olemiss.edu. We will have access to the old system through January 31st.
