Turner Center Inclement Weather Policy

If the university closes due to inclement weather, the Campus Recreation staff will evaluate the situation and will post whether the Turner Center will close or open.

• If the university announces closure due to weather prior to the start of morning classes, an announcement will be posted around 10:00a.m. as to whether the Turner Center will be open or closed. If it is determined that it will be open, the hours of operation will be posted on this web site.
• If the university announces closure due to weather during the academic day, the Campus Recreation staff will determine whether the Turner Center will remain open or if it will close. If it is determined to remain open, the hours of operation will likely be adjusted.
• If inclement weather arrives during weekends, an announcement will be posted around 10:00a.m. as to whether the Turner Center will be open or closed. If it is determined that it will be open, the hours of operation will be posted.
