Why did you choose to join the Flagship Program?
I wanted to study another language so that I could have more exciting and diverse job opportunities after graduation, and I chose Chinese because I wanted the challenge of learning a language that is completely different from English.
Have you studied abroad? If yes, when and where? What is one of your most memorable experiences?
Yes; I spent two summers in Qingdao studying at Qingdao University, and I recently spent a summer in Hangzhou completing an internship. My most memorable experience in China was watching beach volleyball and men's gymnastics at the Beijing Olympics!
How would you sum up your experience in Flagship?
Overall, I would say that my experience in the Flagship Program has been both intense and very rewarding!
What are your post-Flagship plans?
I plan to attend graduate school to further my study of chemical engineering.
