Senator Roger Wicker joined Chancellor Dr. Robert Khayat, Vice Chancellor for Research and Sponsored Programs Dr. Alice Clark, and School of Applied Sciences Dean Dr. Linda Chitwood for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Center for Intelligence and Security Studies (CISS). Leading the Center is Director Carl Jensen, assistant professor of legal studies and former special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The ceremony was attended by members of the judicial, law enforcement and intelligence communities. A reception followed the ceremony, during which Senator Wicker met privately with the Center's first cohort of students in the student lounge.
