CITI Course in the
Responsible Conduct of Research

This online course is for current ISS students only. If you are a member of one of the ISS cohorts, you must take the CITI Course in the Responsible Conduct of Research. If you are taking ISS 125 or are not an ISS student, you do not need to take this course.

Instructions

Depending on reading speed and whether you follow all links, the 7 main modules each take abaut 15-25 minutes to complete. The 25+ case study modules take 5-8 minutes each far a total completion time of appraximately 4-6 hours. This is a rigorous online course and not a brief exposure to RCR. Videos require Microsoft Media Player, Real Player plug-in, or Quick Time, and several documents require Acrobat Reader. Passing is set to 80% summed across all modules, partly due to variability in test item quality.

When you complete all modules, CITI automatically sends a repart to the UM Office of Research and Spansored Programs.

If you have registered for a CITI course before, login using that usemame and password and follow
the steps below. If you have not registered with CITI before, create an account and then continue.

At the main menu, click on Add a course or update your learner groups for University of Mississippi—Oxford.

You will see the following screen:

You must complete #1 and #3.
