Students accepted into each CISS cohort are required to complete ISS 490, an internship at an agency within the IC or an organization involved in research or other intelligence-related function. We provide each student with guidance in choosing an appropriate internship, the application and background investigation process, and internship etiquette.
The objective of the CISS Internship Program is the successful placement of a student in an internship. This can be accomplished by uncovering the student’s interests, strengths, and achievements, and matching them with an agency’s eligibility criteria. In addition, the student will be mentored throughout the application process and until the internship has been completed.
Fill out this dynamic professional interest worksheet. You may print or email your results. CISS students can forward their results to the Internship Coordinator.
CISS receives a steady stream of recruiters from the Intelligence Community.
