University Communications Photography Stock Photos

Intra-University Purchases

Departments may purchase usage rights to UCP stock photos at the rate of $10 per image. Payment is by interdepartmental charge back only.

The purchasing department may use the image an unlimited number of times in perpetuity in any format (printed, on line, projected, etc.) for department publications, webpages and other publications. Departments may not resell the images, profit from the images, transfer the images to another department or allow UCP images to be downloaded, copied, etc.

Commercial Purchases

Upon project approval by either UCP or UM Contractual Services, clients may purchase limited, one-time usage rights to UCP images at agreed-upon rates and terms consistent with market rates.

Photography

Photography for Hire

We are available for hire to fulfill your photography needs to your specifications. Our customers will receive full-resolution copies of photos created while on assignment in accordance with our departmental usage rights.

Location Photography (M_F, 8-5) - $ 95.00/hr*
Location Photography (evenings and weekends) - $125.00/hr*

Studio Photography - portraits, passports, artwork (1-3 pieces) - $ 35.00
Studio Photography – multiple portraits, 4+ pieces of artwork - $ 50.00/hr

*University department rates for location photography-Includes post-production editing, key wording, archiving and making edited images available to customer via FTP or burning all images to disk for customer pick-up. Location photography rates for non-departmental clients are 2x rates above.

Photography Opportunities

We reserve the option to cover photography opportunities at our discretion, as our schedule allows and to the extent we deem appropriate. Images from photo opportunities may or may not be used on the UM NewsDesk, main Ole Miss webpage, or uploaded to our on line gallery at our discretion.

Copyright

It is our policy that all images created by University Communications Photography (UCP) staff or freelance photographers employed by UCP shall be the copyrighted intellectual property of the University of Mississippi University Communications Department.
