Travel by Air
The University-Oxford Airport offers a full-service, fixed-base operation. Oxford and Ole Miss are about a 50-minute drive from the Tupelo Regional Airport, one hour from the Memphis International Airport and three hours from the Jackson-Evers International Airport in Jackson.

** For those individuals who plan to travel by air and will need lodging accommodations, it is important to note that university-shuttle services will be provided to you at selected hotels. The selected hotels are listed below in the lodging section. University-shuttle services will begin loading at 10:30 a.m. and plan to depart at 10:45 a.m. It is important that you indicate the need to use this service when you RSVP on the homepage.

** For those individuals who plan to fly in and leave out the same day, shuttle service will be provided for you to and from the airport. If you plan to use the shuttle service provided by the university, you will need to arrive at the airport and be ready to board the university shuttle at 10:45 a.m. and depart by 11:00 a.m. and arrive on campus no later than 12:30 p.m. The
university shuttle will be located outside the airport where the car rental shuttles board. The university shuttle will return you to the airport as well. The shuttle services will begin boarding at 5:00 p.m. and depart the campus at 5:15 p.m. and arrive at the airport no later than 6:45 p.m. The university shuttle will be located outside Fulton Chapel where the policy forum will be held. Therefore, when booking your airline tickets, please consider the times in which the shuttle services will be operating. It is important that you indicate the need to use this university shuttle service when you RSVP on the site's homepage. Given security concerns and parking challenges on campus, it is highly recommended that you use the university-provided shuttle service.

**For those individual who plan to fly in and leave out the same day and are unable to use the shuttle services, it is recommended that you use the rental car services provided at the airport. An e-mail will be sent to you with instructions for
parking.

Travel by Car
Oxford is accessible from Highway 6 (off I-55) and Highway 7 (off US-78). Interstate 55 is 21 miles away and connected to Oxford by a divided four-lane highway, state Highway 6. Ten state highways within Lafayette County make transportation convenient.

There are no lodging accommodations available in Oxford, MS due to 2008 Presidential Debate. As a result, since university shuttle services will be provided, it is recommended that lodging accommodations are selected from the following hotel(s):
