The abstract submission deadline has past, however, the abstract submission system will remain open for the submission of abstracts for both podium and poster presentations until Friday 1 May. Abstracts submitted after the May 1st deadline will be considered only for poster presentation.
The abstract of your proposed presentation and proceedings paper should be written in LaTeX using the following template:
MaxEnt2009AbstractTemplate.tex
Use this template to generate a pdf version of your abstract for submission. Generating pdf from a LaTeX source file is most easily accomplished using a LaTeX compiler that outputs directly to pdf. You can test your LaTeX compiler's pdf output using the example figure and the pdf version of the template given below.

Please note that your abstract may be no more that one page in length and that all text and figures must fit in a 16.0 cm x 23.0 cm frame. The one page limit for abstracts will be strictly adhered to.
Abstracts for MaxEnt 2009 are submitted via the ConfTool conference management web site. When you submit your abstract, the conference management web site will ask if you are requesting an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Note that some abstracts submitted for oral presentation may come back from the reviewers classified as posters but not vice versa.
