My Drop Box
mydropbox.comh

MyDropBox is a plagiarism detection program newly available to University of Mississippi students and faculty. Students this class are required to submit a final copy of each paper assignment through MyDropBox (in addition to handing in hard copies in class).

Students have the option of submitting drafts of each paper to MyDropBox in order to receive an "originality report" that may help you fix accidental plagiarism before you hand in the final version of each paper.  Dr. Ditto will not grade (or even read) these drafts unless you specifically ask her to.  The "Drafts" folders of MyDropBox are strictly optionalIt may sometimes take 24 hours or more to receive a report from mydropbox.com, so plan ahead if you intend to take advantage of this service.

In order to submit a paper through MyDropBox:

  • Go to http://mydropbox.com.
  • Under the words "Already Registered?" Click on the word "Students"
  • Enter the "Class I.D." number, which is 17381
  • Enter the password for this class, which is LIBA102
  • Click the blue box marked "Go!" (or press "Enter")
  • Select the assignment you are submitting from the first drop-down menu
  • Enter your olemiss.edu email address
  • Select your name from the next drop-down menu
  • Enter the title of your paper
  • Click on the bubble next to either "Copy/Paste Document" or "Upload Document", then do whichever of those two actions you choose.
  • Click on the "Sumit Query" button.
That's it!  In about eleven hours, you (and Dr. Ditto) will receive a report showing any quotation or citation errors or omissions you might have made.
