Application Process for Employment at the University of Mississippi

Applications can be completed on-line at jobs@olemiss.edu. This can be done from any computer with an Internet connection. We have stations set up in our lobby for applicants to use as well as personal assistance from the Employment Office staff.
Please note that you are not considered an applicant for a position if:
- You do not complete an online application and apply to each position in which you are interested.
AND/OR
- You do not meet the minimum qualifications of the position
- You do not take/pass clerical skills tests if required.
It is also possible for you to disqualify yourself by not answering supplemental questions correctly. Be mindful of any messages you receive while applying.

Testing: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00pm - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

Hiring Process for Hiring Departments
Anyone hired into a permanent Support Staff or Professional/Administrative
position at the University of Mississippi will be required to complete six (6) months of employment before
being allowed to apply for other positions on campus. If you have questions about this, please contact
