If you travel for the University and use public transportation more than once a year, you may apply for an American Express Corporate Card. Under the corporate agreement between American Express and the University, the annual membership fee is waived. Furthermore, you receive travel accident insurance coverage of $200,000 for any ticket charged to the card. Applications for an American Express Corporate Card are available from Procurement Services, Jeanette Phillips Drive. Call Travel at 7043 or 5590 to have an application sent to your department.

If you qualify to receive a corporate card from American Express, they will issue it to you and not to the University. You are responsible for paying all expenses charged to the card. You must use the card only for expenses incurred while on official University business.
