Longstreet Hall to house Social Work and Applied Sciences

UM's Longstreet Hall, built in the early part of the 20th century as a student dormitory, this fall undergoes a yearlong, $1 million transformation to become the new home of two departments in the School of Applied Sciences: Social Work and Applied Sciences.

Professors and staff of the departments will share the three-story multifunctional spaces on the first floor, and administrative and faculty offices on the second and third floors.
