Registration is now open for the Aquatic Exercise Program, which is available to anyone in the Oxford or university communities. The program is a low-to-medium impact exercise program conducted in the Turner Center pool.
It is “ideal for anyone of any age who desires a fitness program designed to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion and cardiovascular endurance,” said Kim Beason, coordinator of the program and an associate professor in the Department of Health, Exercise Science and Recreation Management. To enroll, participants do not have to be able to swim but must have written approval from their physician.
