The Art Department's studio and art history programs are currently housed in Meek Hall. This building houses classrooms, faculty and administrative offices, undergraduate and graduate studios, lecture halls, the woodshop, computer labs, graphic design resource room, Gallery 130, and the Visual Resources Center. The department also utilizes Kinard Hall for the photography studio. Numerous other buildings, such as the University Museums, are used periodically for Art History courses.

MEEK HALL
Meek Hall was originally constructed to house the Family and Consumer Science and Music Departments. Built in 1959 -1960, it was named for Elma Meek. As a student, "Miss Meek" submitted the name "Ole Miss" for the yearbook, which is now a sincere name used for the university. Meek currently houses the Art Department office, ceramics, Gallery 130, printmaking, sculpture and the Visual Resource Center.

KINARD HALL
Kinard houses the photography lab which is a shared facility for the Art Department and the Center for Southern Studies.
