DR.
ESTHER SPRAGUE SPARKS

|
Esther Sparks has held various teaching and lecturing posts at the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University, the Terra Museum of American Art, and the Arts Club of Chicago. She has been the recipient of a Henry Luce Fund Scholarship and a grant from National Endowment for the Arts. Ms. Sparks was the Chairman of Exhibitions at the Peoria Museum of Arts and Sciences from 1960 - 1965, the Curator of Collections at Northwestern University from 1968 - 1970, and has worked as a curator at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1970 - 1985. She received her BA from the University of Chicago, and her MA and PhD from Northwestern University.
