In addition to the traditional long-term
programs available at the university, the Department of Art offers
a variety of short-term travel courses, each focused on a different
metropolitan or regional destination.
Typically, one or two of these courses are offered during each Intersession,
Wintersession, and August-Abroad semesters. These courses are taught
by departmental instructors for UM credit, and are opened to all
UM students on a space-available basis. Courses are regularly offered
