The Health Professions Advising arm of The Office of Pre-Professional Advising is part of the Academic Support Center (which, among other duties, also serves students without declared majors). Currently, I am the Coordinator of Health Professions Advising as well as Associate Professor of Chemistry (many of you will know me as “host” of “the Early Morning Show,” AKA the 8:00 sections of General Chemistry!)
If you have decided upon a discipline in one of the Health Related Professions (Cytotechnology, Dental Hygiene, Health Information Management, Clinical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Occupational Therapy,) or a Pre-Professional track (Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Veterinary Medicine), please contact this office at 662-915-5970 to make an appointment for advising.
If you have declared your major and are in a Pre-Professional track you will still need to make an appointment to make sure that you are on track.
