Dr. James O’Neal is the advisor for all the other health related professions: PRE-DENTAL HYGIENE, PRE-CYTOTECHNOLOGY, PRE-HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT, PRE-MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY, PRE-OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY, PRE-CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE.
Advising by Dr. O’Neal is by APPOINTMENT ONLY! Advising for May Intersession, Summer and Fall Semesters begins the middle of February each year. Think Valentine’s Day! Advising for Spring Semester begins the middle of September each year.
Emails are sent to each student listed as having a health professions major, asking that they make an individual appointment for advising. Once the appointment is made the student is expected to keep the appointment, if not, that student will not be rescheduled until registration windows open. If you have an early registration window, make your appointment and keep it!
Pre-Med, Pre-Dent, Pre-Physical Therapy, and Pre-Optometry students should also make an appointment to see Dr. O’Neal, after seeing the academic advisor for their major.
