2012 Color Guard Auditions

Color Guard auditions will be held on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 at 1pm in the Ole Miss Band Hall. There are no vacancies for feature twirlers for the 2012 season, so twirler auditions will not be held this year.

If you are unable to attend auditions on April 21st, please contact the band office to schedule an individual audition time.

Audition Requirements

• Flag: drop spins; speed spins (double-time); figure 8's (carves); windmills, extended windmills; speed spin toss; figure 8 toss; and horizontal toss (parallel toss).
• Movement: jazz run; passe; saute; tendu; and chasse.
• Hair should be worn back.
• Attire should consist of tennis shoes or jazz/dance/guard shoes, and dark colored (preferably black) shorts and shirt. (Please avoid loose-fitting clothing).
