Membership Options
Use of the Turner Center for recreational purposes is based on various membership options. The following information should assist in determining the membership option you are eligible to enroll in.
Affiliated Membership Options
Ole Miss Students and Immediate Families
- Ole Miss Students: A currently enrolled full fee paying Ole Miss student may use the facility during scheduled recreational periods. Fee is included in tuition. (Primarily Enrollee)
- Student Family: A currently enrolled full fee paying Ole Miss students (primary enrollee) may enroll his/her Spouse ($30.00 semester) or may enroll Spouse and eligible Dependent(s) through the Student Family Membership Option ($50.00 semester). (Primary, Secondary, Dependent Enrollees)
- Non-Enrolled Student: An Ole Miss student enrolled for the Spring Semester, but not attending summer session may obtain a membership provided he/she was a full fee paying student (primary enrollee) during the Spring Semester. The fee will be $25.00 for one summer session or $50.00 for full summer session. If his/her spouse and/or dependent(s) are enrolled see Student Family. (Primary, Secondary, Dependent Enrollees)
Ole Miss Faculty/Staff Membership
- Retired Faculty & Staff:
Faculty and staff who retired from Ole Miss prior to January, 1997, are eligible to receive a complimentary membership. The membership is available to the retiree and his/her spouse. Dependents may not be included. (Primary and Secondary Enrollees)
Faculty and staff who retired from Ole Miss after January, 1997, are eligible to obtain a membership at the current faculty/staff membership rate. Dependents meeting established eligibility requirements can be included on the membership plan. (Primary, Secondary, Dependent Enrollees)
Recent Ole Miss Grad
- Recent Grad: Upon graduation from Ole Miss, the graduate can obtain a Recent Grad Membership for the semester immediately following graduation, and this is available of one (1) semester only. The fee is $50.00. If spouse and/or dependent(s) is/are added, the membership fee is $100.00 for both.
Non-Affiliated Community Membership Options
Community Membership Options:
- Community members may obtain one of two Community Memberships Options - Individual or Family. The membership is for one calendar year. Payment must be made in full at enrollment time and may be cash, check, or Visa/MasterCard. Each enrollee will be required to have a Turner Center ID made at the University ID Center. The ID or a hand scan must be presented/scanned with each visit. (Primary, Secondary, Dependent Enrollees)
• Individual Membership is $400.00 for one calendar year.
• Family Membership is $500.00 for one calendar year.
Definition of Terms
- Campus Recreation Cardholder is a currently enrolled student at Ole Miss or a non-student who has enrolled in one of the Turner Center Membership Options.
- Campus Recreation Membership Card for a currently enrolled Ole Miss student is his/her official Ole Miss student ID which is automatically validated for Turner Center upon enrollment as a student. The official Ole Miss Faculty/ Staff ID is validated by the Campus Recreation Office upon completing membership application. Non-affiliated memberships will have a pictured ID made at the Ole Miss ID Center upon completing enrollment. All ID's will be re-validated with continued enrollment.
- Primary Enrollee is the individual who is authorized for enrollment either as a student, faculty/staff member, emeriti/retiree from Ole Miss, or through the community enrollment option.
- Secondary Enrollee is the spouse of the Primary Enrollee.
- Dependent: is an unmarried child under 23 years of age having permanent residence with the Primary Enrollee.
