Student Awards
The Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial scholarship medals are awarded to
students nominated for outstanding scholarship in a particular field
combined with superior work in all other subjects. The number awarded
annually may not be more than one percent of the student body. Taylor
medals have been awarded by Ole Miss since 1904.

The Efton L. Park, Jr., Memorial Scholarship in Chemical Engineering
was established by friends and relatives of the late Dr. Efton L. Park,
Jr., Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering from 1978 to 1981. The scholarship is awarded to deserving Chemical Engineering
students (typically after their Junior year) who demonstrate academic
achievement in the field of Chemical Engineering.

need.
