Doctor of Philosophy
Students must complete six graduate-level chemistry courses, including at least one core course from each of four traditional areas, analytical, biochemistry, organic, inorganic, and physical (see courses to the right). The student must pass four cumulative examinations, present and successfully defend a dissertation prospectus/research proposal, and pass a final oral examination for defense of the dissertation.
