Dr. Uddin,

How is everything going. I am not sure if you remember me, it has been a couple of years since I graduated and I know that you have had many students since then. I graduated in 2001 and I was just looking on the internet at some of the things going on at Ole Miss and the Civil Engineering school. Looks like things are really going pretty good there. After graduation I moved to St. Louis, MO. and took a job for the Department of Transportation and was really able to learn more and put my surveying class skills to good work setting out curves and so forth. I worked there for almost 3 years, but I have recently taken a job in Houston, TX with Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam still doing Transportation work, but now I am in the private sector. Things are really going well for me I just recently got married to a young lady I met while in St. Louis, we have been married for almost 4 months now and we already have our first move out of the way. We just moved here a little over a month ago and we absolutely love it here.. I am planning to join TexITE here in the very near future so who knows maybe there will be an event that we may bump into each other. I hope to be able to make it to campus this fall so that I can show my wife where I spent some of my best years and maybe we will see you then.

Anyway I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how things are going I hope to hear from you sometime and good luck with everything.
