Dr. Patrick N. Deliman is currently Chief, Environmental Engineering Branch, at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Waterways Experiment Station in Vicksburg, Mississippi. His expertise and contributions are in the areas numerical modeling, stochastic hydrology, fate and effects, and contaminant processes. Current activities include implementation of water quality models in the Watershed Modeling System (WMS), development of a multimedia fate and effects screening level model for determining the effect of Military Relevant Compounds (MRCs) on both terrestrial and acquatic life, and application of numerous water quality models for site specific applications. Dr. Deliman is an adjunct faculty member at The University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University. He has taught courses in Water Quality Modeling, Land Surveying, GIS, and Land Disposal of Hazardous Waste. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Engineering at Mississippi State University and his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University.
