Subject: News from Ole Miss Civil Engineering: 2004 Professional Engineering Seminars

Date: Fri, 20 Feb 2004 18:07:12 -0600

Organization: University of Mississippi

Dear Ole Miss CE Alums and Friends,

The School of Engineering and the Continuing Education are pleased to bring

to you these Engineering Seminars (see below). We thought you might need

PDHs (professional development hours) to fulfill your professional licensing

need.

These seminars will also be a good opportunity for you to meet with faculty

members of the department. Dr. Mullen is an Associate Professor of Civil

Engineering and Director of Center for Earthquake Preparedness. He was

recently awarded a grant from FEMA/MEMA to look into the emergency response

preparedness in several earthquake-prone counties in Mississippi. Dr.

Griffin, Executive Director of Ross-Barnett Reservoir, an Ole Miss alum, is

an Adjunct Professor of the department. If you are interested in the

seminars (one in Oxford and one in Jackson), please contact Continuing

Education as indicated.

Best wishes,

Alex
