Dear CE Alumni and Friends,
The ASCE Deep South Regional Conference hosted by Ole Miss Civil Engineering
Department ASCE Chapter will take place this Thursday to Saturday. About 300
civil engineering students from 13 universities will be here to compete in
events like steel bridge construction and concrete canoe racing. As alumni
and friends of the department, you are welcome to participate in the
conference and mix with students. There is a catfish BarBQ in the Circle
Friday at noon and Banquet in the Ford Center of Performing Arts Saturday at
7 pm. You are welcome to join. For the banquet, I need a head count, so
please give me your name beforehand. The full schedule is shown below.
