Dear Alumni and Friends of Ole Miss Civil Engineering:

In the CE undergraduate program we emphasize student's community service and

extracurricular activities as a way to build their leadership character and

to make them aware of engineer's societal responsibilities. In my

preparation of the ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology)

Self-Study Report, I have written an appendix describing our students'

recent activities that include the Oxford Elementary School Ladybug Bridge,

the Lafayette Middle School Model Bridge Competition, and the ASCE Deep

South Regional Conference. I have included a number of photographs. I am

attaching a pdf file here as you might be interested.
