Dear Civil Engineering Alumni and Friends,

After devoting 41 years (1963-2004) to the education of civil engineers at

Ole Miss, Dr. K.P. George is retiring!

You are cordially invited to a reception honoring Dr. George:

Time: 3-5 pm, Friday, May 7, 2004. Presentation at 3:30 pm.

(Saturday May 8 is the Commencement Day.)

Place: Oxford Train Depot (The recently renovated Oxford Train Station. See

http://www.outreach.olemiss.edu/directions/train_depot.html  for direction

and the history of the Depot.)

If you plan to come to the reception, please drop me and the engineering

alumni office (Stephen Snead  ssnead@alumni.olemiss.edu) an email. We may be

able to arrange some other activities for you.

By this email I am also soliciting written tributes about Dr. George. If you

send these to me in a week, I will compile them and present to Dr. George.

If you are coming to the reception, you can speak in person.
