Dear Ole Miss Civil Engineering Alumni and Friends,

I am attaching here two recent news releases concerning our alumni (see
attachments):

1. Roy DiVincenti, BSCE 1978, and his company Professional Forensic Service,
Inc. was featured in Ole Miss Alumni Association Press.

2. Rick Ferguson, BSCE 1991, was announced in a news release by Pickering
Inc. as being selected as an Associate Principal with the company.

Congratulations to them both.

Let me also announce that:

. Mississippi Department of Transportation has announced the first MDOT
Scholarship winner: Derek Kendrick, a civil engineering junior (moving to
senior). Derek will receive a $10,000/yr scholarship plus benefits and is
employed by MDOT. Derek was also elected by his classmates as the incoming
ASCE Chapter President, so MDOT was very pleased with the selection.

. The Civil Engineering office was renovated, thanks to the financial
assistance from the Woods Order and the Dean's office. You are welcome to
drop in.
