Dear Engineering Professionals, Alumni, and Friends:

Greetings from Ole Miss! As you probably know, the University of Mississippi
has opened campuses in DeSoto County and Tupelo in order to help meet the
educational needs of North Mississippi. The School of Engineering is ready
to offer engineering programs on these two campuses that serve the
professional workforce in these communities.

We cordially invite you to attend an informational open house to learn more
about these programs.

 Tupelo campus, November 30, 2004 (Tuesday), 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
 DeSoto campus, December 1, 2004 (Wednesday), 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The purpose of the open house is to introduce the existing off-campus Master
degree programs in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering, and to
gauge interest in creating new programs. The new programs could include a
Master of Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering Certificates, or
other degree and certificate programs. In addition, short courses,
workshops, and professional development seminars can be offered, if there is
sufficient interest. Your input is important!

We not only welcome your presence, but hope you will bring along any friends
