Dr. Jon Huey, P.E., DEE, is employed at the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. He has worked there in the areas of wastewater treatment plant construction, Superfund, and planning and policy. Prior to his work at DEQ, he was an assistant professor in the environmental technology program at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Huey’s primary interests are environmental microbiology, biological wastewater treatment, and hazardous waste site remediation. He is an adjunct professor at The University of Mississippi and holds B.A. and M. S. Degrees in microbiology and a Ph.D. degree in civil and environmental engineering all from The University of Iowa, Iowa City. |
