      Villanovan bronze horse bit, mid to late 8th cent. B.C., from Italy. Bit is shaped like traditional Greek geometric depictions of horses. Purchased in Philadelphia, PA in the 1970s by the University of Mississippi Classics Department.

      Etruscan incense burner, bronze, 4th cent. B.C. Gift of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Peddle.
