Vision Statement
The Center for Manufacturing Excellence will be a unique institution that generates engineering graduates who understand advanced manufacturing from a process/engineering per- spective and from the business, management and leadership points of view. The CME will also equip students in the areas of accounting and business with engineering and manufacturing production skills.
Beyond its academic role, the CME will enable the university to develop a showcase facility where manufacturing firms can learn new manufacturing methods and techniques to enhance training of their employees.
