Research Programs
Although the initial focus of the CME is undergraduate education in manufacturing, the center’s major priorities also include graduate education and research. Research in manufacturing is a national need, and the CME is taking a major role in this research. The new faculty and staff will work in areas of their expertise to address the special needs of Mississippi industry and will welcome outside ideas for research. In addition to research, graduate degrees at both the master’s (M.S.) and the doctoral (Ph.D.) levels will be offered.
