Admissions

The application deadline for graduate admissions in the fall is February 1st. The Department does not admit a new graduate class in spring or summer. Applicants are ranked based on undergraduate grade point averages and scores on the Graduate Record Examination. Each new class is comprised from this list, up to a maximum class size in accordance with national accreditation standards. Qualifications for admission eligibility for the graduate program in speech-language pathology currently are a 3.0 on the core undergraduate requirements and the Graduate Record Examination Scores are competitive.  

To complete an application online, visit the Graduate School website.  There are several items that you need to submit online to the Graduate School.

• Application
• GRE scores
• Official transcript(s)
• Letter of Intent
• Resume
• Three Letters of Recommendation
• NOTE:  If you are unable to submit your Letter of Intent, Resume, or  Letters of Recommendation online to the Graduate School mail them directly to the department:

Graduate Assistantship Application and 3 Letters of Recommendation for Assistantship should be sent directly to the Department.

* Your application will not be circulated for departmental review until appropriate test scores (GRE/GMAT/TOEFL, etc.) and your official transcript(s) have been submitted to the Graduate School.
