The undergraduate program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders leads to the Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. A Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders must be earned in order to fulfill the academic and practicum requirements for certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as for state certification and licensure. The Bachelor's degree is considered to be pre-professional.
