ADMISSION
The application deadline for graduate admissions in the fall is
February 1. The Department does not admit a new graduate class in spring or
summer for speech-language pathology. After the application deadline has passed,
we rank order applicants based on undergraduate grade point averages and scores
on the Graduate Record Examination. Each new class is comprised from this list,
up to a maximum class size in accordance with national accreditation standards.
Qualifications for admission eligibility for the graduate program in speech-language
pathology currently are a 3.0 on the core undergraduate requirements and/or
a 900 composite score (verbal and quantitative) on the Graduate Record Examination;
these standards are subject to continual review and possible change.
There are several items that you need to make sure are sent to
the Graduate School and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
