Bio: Ann Monroe serves as Visiting Assistant Professor of Elementary Education in The Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Monroe is also the lead instructor for The Mississippi Teacher Corp’s initial summer training program. She has taught in The School of Education since 2003. Previously, Dr. Monroe was a third grade teacher with the Hamilton County School System in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, her Master’s from The University of Mississippi, and her Doctor of Education Degree from The University of Mississippi.
