Bio: Dr. Bobbie Smothers Jones is Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at The University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. She received her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with Leadership Emphasis from The University of Memphis. She has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and school principal in K-12 education before joining the higher education faculty at The University of Mississippi. She has co-authored several articles, book chapters, and presented at national and regional education conferences in the areas of leadership and curriculum/instruction.
