Bio: Kim Hartman holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on teacher education and middle grades education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She holds a MS in Research, Testing and Evaluation from Florida State University. She taught in rural, suburban and urban public schools for eight years. Her research focuses on teacher education, particularly alternative routes to licensure, low wealth schools, and middle grades education. Prior to coming to Olemiss, she worked at Gardner-Webb University, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
