Bio: Stacie Pettit holds a Ph.D. in Middle School Education from the University of Georgia. She holds a M.Ed. in Middle School Education from Augusta State University. Her undergraduate Middle School Education degree from the University of Georgia included concentrations in mathematics and language arts education. She holds K-12 gifted and English to Speakers of Other Languages certifications. She taught in suburban and urban public schools for seven years. Her research focuses on teacher beliefs concerning English Language Learners, mathematics education, and middle grades education.
